So I drove up to Gamestop, saw a mass of cars and a line of people stetching a couple stores away, muttered to myself "I'm too old for this shit", and decided to come back home. I shall come back during normal business hours probably on Monday when there are less kiddies.

Smart move. I've learned that when the HP books are released, I reserve mine and then go get it on a weekday morning after the release. Getting the book at midnight doesn't allow me to read it any faster because I have to sleep so I can be Mom the next day anyway... so the weekday morning is just fine for me. It actually allows me to read it while the kids are at school. *hehehe*

I did end up seeing the last movie at the midnight release but that was because the person that I see ALL of the movies with was leaving to fly to Australia the next morning and wouldn't be around to see it with me any other time. It was fun but man, did we stick out like sore thumbs... we were the only ones NOT in costumes.
